Today in Lviv, 30 winners of the Gifted Youth Support Program were awarded. They received 30,000 hryvnias each from the city for their academic achievements, victory in various competitions and Olympiads.
The mayor of Lviv presented certificates to the winners of the competition.
“Now is such a time that when I need some advice, I turn to young people. People like you are often more open and have a better sense of reality. This is very valuable. Remember that you are the best.
I want to wish you to do what you love, don’t be afraid to experiment and take risks and live this life to the fullest,” said Andriy Sadovy.
“We sincerely congratulate you, because you have gone through a difficult path. The fact that you are here now means that you have devoted a lot of time and effort to science. And it brings incredible results, so we are very proud of you,” emphasized Andriy Zakaliuk, head of the Lviv Education Department.
We would like to remind you that the Gifted Youth Support Program of the Lviv City Territorial Community has been in effect since 2017. As part of the program, prizes are awarded every year, but previously they were in the amount of 15 thousand hryvnias, and now – 30 thousand. The award is given to students for achievements in intellectual competitions, tournaments or Olympiads.
