The police have identified the participants of the incident that took place in one of the schools in Mykolaiv, Stryi district

The reason for the conflict was that the teacher tried to take the soccer ball from one of the students. The police drew up an administrative offense report against the teacher.

Yesterday, May 2, during the monitoring of social networks, law enforcement officers of the Lviv region found a video on which a conflict took place, probably between a school teacher and a student.

During the inspection, employees of the juvenile prevention sector of the Stryi district police department established that the incident took place in one of the schools in the city of Mykolaiv, Stryi district, Lviv region. The participants were a 52-year-old teacher who tried to pick up a soccer ball and a seventh-grade student of the same school, the owner of the ball.

The law enforcement officers conducted conversations with the administration of the educational institution and schoolchildren, during which they established that the teacher, a participant in the conflict, had previously repeatedly humiliated and harassed the students of the school, and committed psychological violence against them.

Regarding the teacher, an administrative protocol was drawn up under Part 1 of Article 173-4 (Bullying (harassment) of a participant in the educational process) of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses. The sanction of the article provides for punishment – a fine of fifty to one hundred tax-free minimum incomes of citizens or community service for a period of twenty to forty hours.
