The army is strong when it has a reliable and united rear! Not only adults, but also children give their attention, warmth and support to defenders of Ukraine in this difficult time. So, students of the 2nd grade of Lyceum No. 4 named after Lesya Ukrainka, together with their parents, administration and school teachers, have repeatedly visited military personnel who are undergoing rehabilitation in one of the hospitals of our region. Ditvora prepared goodies and symbolic gifts for them as a sign of gratitude for their heroism and feat.
In addition, these days, students of the 2-B class summed up their important charitable campaign: they sold painted sleeves at numerous auctions. With the proceeds, it was possible to purchase 6 drones, 2 of which were decided to be handed over to the father of one of the students in the class, the rest to a military unit in the Kramatorsk area, for combat missions. Schoolchildren claim that it is very important for them to contribute to the common victory and to support the fighting spirit of our titans by all possible methods. The mayor of Drohobych Taras Kuchma visited the educational institution to personally thank the schoolchildren for the constant support of military personnel, who presented the children with certificates and gifts.
Since the beginning of the war, our children have been very affected by the events taking place in our country and decided to contribute to the support of the military and the approaching victory of Ukraine over the Russian enemy. I want to tell you that our country has a wonderful future, because it will be created by you – children with a big, responsive heart, compassion and patriotism for the native land. Thank you all so much for what you do for our soldiers. A low bow and thanks to your parents, who raise true patriots of their country, Taras Kuchma addressed the children.
With special thanks, the head of the community recognized Karolina Naumyak, a student of the 2nd grade. Recently, the girl won the International project “My Ukraine is all washed with tears, the whole body is in wounds…”. Karolina Naumyak’s joint touching photo session with one of the wounded Heroes brought victory to the girl in the photo contest. As a result, it gave a positive decision regarding the free prosthetics of soldiers in one of the American clinics.
In addition, with the support of the Ministry of Veterans of Ukraine, all photos from the photo project, especially with the participation of Karolina Naumyak, are posted on big boards in Drohobych (for free) and in other cities of Ukraine, as social advertising and a call not to forget at what price victory is given to us.
The director of Lyceum No. 4 Nataliya Huk also joined the project, who wrote an author’s poem about the sad realities of our Motherland today. The poem is also posted on the bulletin board next to the photos.
