On August 13, at 1:00 p.m., the Pixlab youth space for design and media (285 Horodotsky St.) will host the lecture “How to start your career in design?” from the designer of the EPAM company Natalia Kutso. She will help young people understand this field and tell how to take the first step.
The designer understands how difficult it is to understand a new field at the beginning, because at one time she radically changed the vector of professional development and became an Experience Designer at EPAM, having considerable experience in another direction.
At the event, participants will consider the following questions:
– Who are Experience Designers and what other types of design professions are there in IT?
– How to “not drown” in the width of this sphere?
– Where to get knowledge and practical experience?
– What and how to fill your portfolio?
– What to tell at the first interview?
The lecture will be useful both for those who are just thinking about choosing this profession, and for designers at the Intern and Junior level
