Hour of Code takes place in Lviv for the seventh time and will last this year in an offline format from December 5 to 16 for 8th grade students. The Department of Information Technologies of LMR and MakerSpace Lviv invite mentors to conduct a computer science lesson for schoolchildren of the Lviv community.
Traditionally, in December, during the Informatics Week, Lviv participates in the Hour of Code – a global initiative to popularize programming among schoolchildren. In 2022, the initiative will last two weeks in the Lviv community, so willing IT specialists can still join and choose free lessons.
Mentors can be representatives of business analytics, programmers, testers, project managers, HR, etc., who want to tell schoolchildren about their profession and the advantages of information technologies.
