Registration for free training for veterans begins in Lviv

Registration is open for participation in the free certificate training program for veterans and veterans who plan to realize themselves in public service positions and service in local self-government bodies – “Professional development of veterans for work in public service positions and service in local self-government bodies.” The form of education is distance learning.

This is reported by the Lviv Center for the provision of services to combatants.

The program aims to promote the professional development of veterans who:

have been in civil service or service in local self-government bodies for less than 1 year as of the date of the competitive selection of trainees and intend to continue working in these positions in the near future;

do not have work experience in the field of public service and/or service in local government, but intend to be employed in such positions in the near future.

The duration of the program is 12 weeks. Classes will be held 3 days a week, 2 pairs per day. The duration of one lesson is 1 hour 20 minutes.

Competitive selection for training will take place in three stages:

· submission of completed forms and motivational letters – by March 1.

· announcement of the results of the competitive selection – March 10.

· start of training – March 20.

Requirements for candidates:

– higher education (master’s, bachelor’s or junior bachelor’s degree);

– total work experience – not less than two years or work experience in civil service positions/in positions in local self-government bodies – up to one year (admission without passing a competition);

– fluent command of the state language;

– PC user: Word, Excel, e-mail, messengers;

– integrity, conscientiousness;

– a conscious desire for change and a clear understanding of the purpose of joining the civil service or service in local self-government bodies.
