The GROHE Academy is an innovative training and professional development center dedicated to improving the qualifications of specialists in the field of sanitary engineering and ensuring their career in this direction. The training space is filled with the most modern equipment, and practical classes have already started there. Not only the latest technologies in the field of plumbing, but also highly qualified specialists of Grohe Ukraine will contribute to the education of students.
“The center was opened for the purpose of high-quality training of future installers. It provides for the training of masters of industrial training and teachers of professional and theoretical training, their certification in accordance with the requirements. At the GROHE Academy, students, installers, retraining, advanced training and short-term courses will take place, where students will gain knowledge and skills in the installation, maintenance, adjustment and repair of sanitary equipment. 60 such centers have already been opened in different countries of the world, in each of them there are samples of the most modern equipment used in Europe”, – emphasized the director of the Interregional Higher Vocational School of Road Transport and Construction, Nazar Zakal. ⠀
The opening of the GROHE Academy was attended by General Director of GROHE Ukraine Andriy Rudyk, employees of the LOVA Department of Education and Science, and students of the school.
“We are changing approaches in vocational and technical education. Such innovative projects provide an opportunity to train vocational training students according to the best practices in the world. Yes, this institution has already created a new vocational training center for the profession “Installer of sanitary-technical systems and equipment”. However, what was achieved with the support of the “GROHE” company provides new opportunities and motivation, first of all, for students. We saw a completely modern approach and looked at the other side of the installation, so that specialists could immediately perform high-quality work and see typical defects. In addition, the ability to work with expensive equipment is added. Such a learning platform will facilitate the acquisition of qualifications for both students and the adult population. In the future, it is planned to create a qualification center here.
