There will be a modern children’s club in the Lychakiv district of Lviv

Today, at the session of the Lviv City Council, they voted to provide the institution of children’s and youth clubs of the Lychakiv district of Lviv with non-residential premises on the street. Pasichnaya, 75. After the renovation, there will be a new multifunctional space for children and youth with free groups for children.

“One of the main areas of work of the youth policy department is the organization of interesting leisure time for children and teenagers of the city. It is extremely important to find additional premises in order to create new circles and opportunities for the development of the abilities of children living in the most densely populated areas of Lviv,” said Rostyslav Yunyk, head of the youth policy department of the Lviv City Council.

Children’s clubs of Lviv are a network of leisure centers with groups of various directions. The purpose of the activities of such clubs is to organize opportunities for young Lviv residents to spend their free time interestingly and meaningfully not far from home. The network of children’s clubs in the Lychakiv district includes: the “Capsula” club (22 Pekarska St.), the “Bagato Serdets” club (5a J. Washington St.), the “Crossfit” club (10 Korolyova St.), the “Mandarin” club (16 Kotsilovsky St.), “Collage” club (16 K. Levytsky St.), “Kolibri” (64 Pasichna St.), Space of St. Antonia (4 Kytaiska St.).

Children’s clubs of Lviv are a network of leisure centers in 6 districts of the city, in which free circles and sections of cognitive, scientific, creative and sports direction operate with the aim of providing young Lviv residents with an opportunity to spend leisure time interestingly and meaningfully not far from home.

More than 5,000 pupils (more than 110 groups of various directions) attend classes in 45 premises. Among them: sports (health gymnastics, table tennis, football, weightlifting, dancing, judo, boxing), creative (theatre studios, vocals, photo club, visual and decorative arts, pottery), foreign language clubs, scientific, morning development circles for preschoolers.
