As part of the events, online and face-to-face training, online trainings, and (re)qualification improvement courses will be held.
The initiative is implemented with the assistance of the USAID project “Economic Support of Ukraine”. The goal is the gradual restoration of the labor market, providing the population with new career opportunities, strengthening and developing the labor potential of Ukraine.
In total, seven more vocational and technical education institutions of Lviv Oblast participate in the project:
Przemyśl Vocational Lyceum – beekeeping (queen breeding);
Higher Vocational School No. 34 in Stryi – cook, tailor, installer of sanitary-technical systems and equipment;
Lviv Vocational College of Hotel, Tourism and Restaurant Service – cook, confectioner
Lviv Higher Vocational College of Computer Technologies and Construction – painter, plasterer and tiler;
Interregional Higher Vocational School of Road Transport and Construction – efficient heating, welding techniques and technologies;
Medenytskyi Vocational Lyceum – agrodrone operator, tractor-machinist of agricultural production;
Lviv Higher Vocational Art School – carpenter, furniture assembly, painter, florist.
The project provides:
✔️education and retraining of adults, including vulnerable population groups and displaced persons;
✔️helping businesses acquire new skills for their employees;
improving the qualifications of teachers of higher education institutions in order to improve educational programs and curricula;
✔️ creation of effective “education-business” partnerships in order to increase the investment attractiveness of the regions.
