Educators gathered at the Horodok Recreation and Cultural Services Center to celebrate a professional date – the Day of Education Workers.
The teacher’s autumn is so different, the same and unique at the same time. Hanna Vakar, the head of the united territorial organization of the trade union of education and science workers of Ukraine of Horodotsk Komarnivska city, Velikolyubinska settlement territorial communities, shared the variety of sensations it gives.
The head of the Humanitarian Department, Ihor Yaskevich, thanked the school and preschool teams for not only teaching children, but also doing the possible and the impossible, helping our Armed Forces, supporting internally displaced persons in a difficult moment.
Volodymyr Remenyak, the head of the Horodotsk Territorial Community, congratulated the educators, handing over the gratitude of the Horodotsk City Council to the teams of Bratkovytsk, Rodatytsk schools, Horodotsk OZZSO No. 5 and ZZSO No. 3 for their dedication and active citizenship.
“Thank you to our native Armed Forces who defend our Independence. Among our defenders are sons, husbands, fathers, brothers and many students of our teachers. So I salute you for raising true patriots of Ukraine,” said the mayor.
Teaching not only sows the seeds of wisdom and goodness. Our educators are in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He is a teacher of the Vovchukiv school and a parish priest, the chaplain is Fr. Stepan Tselen, who is the chaplain of the Center for Territorial Defense and Equipment, and Ruslan Dykiy, a worker of Dobryansk ZZSO, and Ivan Gredil, a teacher of ZZSO No. 4. The generous applause of the hall was for them, their relatives.
They honored the fallen Heroes with a moment of silence… They performed together the spiritual National Anthem of Ukrainians. Creative and talented students and teachers presented wonderful creative numbers.
And the cherry on the festive “cake” is the wonderful performance “Yaroslav the Wise” as a gift from the folk drama group of the People’s House of Komarno (director Hanna Sikirska)
