In the town of Hirnyk, Chervonograd district, work on the reconstruction and extension of the school is ongoing.
Andriy Godyk, the first deputy head of the Lviv OVA, inspected the progress of the works.
This year, the reconstruction and completion of the general education school of grades I-III is financed in the amount of 8.3 million hryvnias from the Capital Construction Program of social-cultural and housing-communal facilities at the expense of the regional budget. Another 3 million hryvnias – co-financing by the local community.
The total estimated cost of the facility is more than 130 million hryvnias.
Now the second phase of construction is underway. In particular, for the full completion of the renovation, last week the Chervonograd city council decided to allocate an additional 2 million hryvnias for the purchase of furniture and equipment to improve the quality of the educational process.
Currently, students of the Hirnytskyi Gymnasium of the Chervonograd City Council are forced to study in the adapted premises of the preschool educational institution.
As noted by Andrii Godyk, they plan to complete the reconstruction before the beginning of the school year. This will ensure a quality educational process for 410 students.
Let us add that the Chervonograd community is one of the communities that takes an active part in housing forcibly displaced persons. Thus, during the full-scale invasion, more than 11,700 people found refuge on its territory.
