Street play libraries continue to travel around the Drohobych community. It’s not the first time that specialists from the Drohobych City Centre for Social Services and active members of the city’s Children’s Parliament have organised creative leisure activities in the format of street playgrounds for schoolchildren.
These days, the fun took place on the territory of the Rikhtytsia secondary school. The children, under the skilful guidance of animators, danced to the cheerful music of the bans and mastered the art of the Royal Bans. They successfully completed the quest and intellectual game “Lie or Truth” and competed in sports relay races.
This project is being implemented by the Drohobych City Centre for Social Services as part of the Summer Leisure Programme for children from social categories and children who are not involved in recreation and leisure in summer camps. The summer holidays have just begun, and street playgrounds have already visited the youngest residents of Stebnyk, Naguyevychi, Lishnya and Rykhtychi villages.
