The School of Inclusion has completed the training for the development of a barrier-free environment in the field of tourism

250 listeners from 13 regions of Ukraine took the fate of the trainees.

Experts of the project, which was organized by the Lviv Association for the Development of Tourism for the support of USAID “GOVERLA”, prepared it and held 15 lectures, which were held online during this fierce period.

At the School of Inclusion, the middle ones were reviewed by the following topics:

International assessment of the infrastructure of museums, theatres, hotels and restaurants from the point of view of the accessibility of low-mobility groups of the population.
What are the prospects for the reduction of services for people with disabilities and low-mobility groups of the population?
How to practically improve the architectural environment for people with disabilities and low-mobility population groups.
Apply the m. Lvov at the adjoining huge museum expanses.
Accessible Internet site for people with different mental disorders.

At the beginning of the training, the participants took away the skills of the peculiarities and the principles of working with people, which may be damaged by the dawn, hearing and the corystuvacs of the wheeled chair. “Barrierless topics are important in all spheres of life. I am rooting for those people with disabilities to be able to freely mandulate and improve their health in Ukraine. For the purposes of 2023, the management of tourism and resorts should focus on barrier-free. Here we need to talk about communication in case of providing services to persons from different types of damage, ”appointed Natalya Tabak, head of the tourism department and resorts.
