Already from September 1, all schools of the Lviv City Territorial Community will use a free electronic magazine/diary. Currently, the IT company Lionwood.software is working on connecting educational institutions to a single “Learning and Technologies” platform and conducting training for teachers on its use.
The electronic diary/journal is a multifunctional software that allows you not only to keep grades or records of school attendance, but also to attach homework to teachers, has a video chat resource, where you can conduct lessons online or communicate. The electronic magazine will be free for users, it will be paid for from the city budget.
It is assumed that management will be done in an electronic format, and parents will be able to receive information when their child has received a grade.
“The launch of electronic diaries/magazines is a revolutionary change in our education system. This significantly improves communication between all sides of the educational process: parents-children-teachers. Also, this system frees up teachers, because paperwork takes a lot of time. Now it will be possible to do it very quickly online. Do not forget about the mobility of information transfer for students and parents. If we manage to implement the electronic magazine/diary in the version we planned, then everyone will feel the great advantage of such a single online system,” said Andrii Zakaliuk, head of the Lviv Education Department.
