Carols, pampukhs and kutya: Urban Camp Lviv organized a traditional Christmas Eve for the displaced

On the second Holy evening, fifty internally displaced Ukrainians living in the Urban Camp Lviv shelter were treated to traditional Lenten dishes and a joint Christmas carol.

Urban Camp Lviv is one of the four youth spaces of the TVORA! network. The peculiarity of this space is that it provides comfortable living conditions for internally displaced Ukrainians. Since the opening of Urban Camp Lviv in June 2023, the space has become a home for 450 people.

On the second Christmas Eve, which Ukrainians traditionally celebrate on the eve of the Epiphany, a festive fasting dinner was organized for the displaced people living in Urban Camp Lviv. Choirs of the “Dudaryk” chapel also joined the event, singing carols together with all those present.
