On Christmas, Lviv restaurants united to treat the military with festive dishes. 95 defenders of Ukraine joined the action and tried Christmas treats from seven restaurants.
Some of the military visited restaurants on Christmas Eve, and for those who remained in the hospital wards, a festive lunch with delivery was organized.
“This is directly an initiative of establishments, with which representatives of cafes and restaurants appealed to the tourism administration on the eve of Christmas. Such events unite, give a sense of community and care for each other.
In addition, on Christmas Eve, Lviv establishments also reserved tables in memory of all those who died as a result of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. It’s about honor and responsibility, because today we have the opportunity to celebrate Christmas in Lviv, to receive guests from all over Ukraine, and we have to remember everyone who protected and continues to protect us,” said Khrystyna Lebed, head of the Lviv Tourism Department.
