Today, the mayor of Lviv, Andriy Sadovy, visited and congratulated the soldiers of the National Guard of Ukraine. On behalf of the city community, the mayor thanked the National Guardsmen for their courage and patriotism, loyalty to the oath to the Ukrainian people, significant contribution to the approach of victory over the Russian aggressor, and on the occasion of the Day of the National Guard of Ukraine.
“It is very gratifying that the National Guard is becoming more and more professional and technological from year to year. The National Guard is an important part of the Defense Forces of Ukraine, and together with your comrades from the Armed Forces, you show the wonders of military skill – in Kyiv region, Kharkiv region, in Mariupol, in Bakhmut. It is especially gratifying that Ukrainians trust the National Guard – tens of thousands of volunteers signed up for the ranks of the Offensive Guard to free our lands from the occupiers together with their comrades. I wish the soldiers and officers of the National Guard military success, reliable comrades and victory!” said Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovy.
As a reminder, the Day of the National Guard of Ukraine has been celebrated since March 26, 2015.
