The patrol police of the Lviv region celebrates its eighth anniversary since its creation

She started work on August 23, 2015.

Today, August 23, celebrations were held on the occasion of the eighth anniversary of the establishment of the patrol police department in Lviv region, which began its work on the same day in 2015. During the event, those present observed a moment of silence for the fallen policemen and sang the national anthem of Ukraine.

Andriy Godyk, the first deputy chief of the Lviv Police Department, congratulated the patrolmen and thanked them for their work.

“It is a great honor for me to be at the same parking lot with you, because despite your young age, you managed to win the trust and respect of citizens towards the patrol police. With your daily tireless work, each of you proves that you are a worthy example of a true officer. Due to the full-scale invasion, you have many additional obligations, which you cope with well. Thank you for your service,” Andriy Godyk said.

Andriy Godyk presented thanks on behalf of the head of the Lviv Police Department to three patrol police officers for their high performance in official activities and significant personal contribution to ensuring public safety and law and order.

The head of the patrol police of the Lviv region, Andriy Kruten, noted that the patrol police of the Lviv region has more than 1,100 full-time police officers.

“I am proud to be by your side as we develop our administration and our entire region together. Every day you participate in the fate of other people, helping them and arresting violators of public order. Thanks to your work, the whole region is developing and feels safe. I want to thank you for your team spirit and our joint work,” summed up Andriy Kruten.
