In the Sambir district, three children deprived of parental care have found a new family

The children are minors, aged 8, 10 and 15, and are brothers and sisters.

According to the decision of the executive committee of the Turkiv City Council, three children deprived of parental care were placed in a family-type orphanage in the city of Turka.

This was reported by the Children’s Service of the Lviv Regional State Administration.

“From now on, 10 children will live in the family. For full and harmonious development, a child must grow up in a family environment, in an atmosphere of happiness, love and understanding – this is defined by the Convention on the Rights of the Child,” said Volodymyr Lys, head of the Children’s Service of the Lviv Regional State Administration.

In total, there are 41 family-type orphanages in the region, in which 272 orphans and children deprived of parental care are raised, as well as 72 foster families, in which 130 orphans and children deprived of parental care are raised.
