A charity event was held in Lviv on the occasion of celebrating the Constitution Day

During the event, 80,000 hryvnias were collected, which will be used for the purchase of VAC systems for defenders on the front line.

Yesterday, June 27, the Lviv National Philharmonic hosted a charity event for the Constitution Day in support of Ukrainian culture and art, organized by the “Supporters of Ukraine” charity fund, during which all those present had the opportunity to listen to musical performances by the Piccardian Third, Yagody, the Inso- Lviv, Fiji Band, to take part in a charity raffle and get to know young talents who were forced to leave their homes, but continue to study and win awards here in Lviv.

“Today, Ukraine stands guard over the freedom and security not only of Europe, but also of the entire democratic world society. Our military protects us from the feet of the occupier on our territory, so we must help them in their daily exploits for the bright tomorrow of the entire country. Ukrainian volunteers have become an integral support of our army, so honor and praise to them, because only by uniting together will we be able to win this war and expel all evil from our lands. Let our victory come as soon as possible and no more lives will be cut off by enemy rockets. Glory to Ukraine!”, Ivan Sobko, deputy head of Lviv OVA, said during his congratulatory speech.

The founder of the “Supporters of Ukraine” charitable foundation, Olena Andreykiv, said that its mission is to unite efforts to support the vitality of Ukrainian society.

“Our organization’s efforts are aimed at teaching basic first aid skills and tactical medicine skills. At our invitation, military medics from Canada, Norway, the USA and the UK arrived in Ukraine, who carried out comprehensive training of military personnel on providing medical aid in combat conditions. The fund provided 25 vehicles for the needs of the Armed Forces, including two ambulances. We also implement the following basic projects: international cooperation of doctors, support for culture and sports, as well as the organization of legal and psychological support for military personnel and their family members,” said Olena Andreykiv.

It is worth noting that among the guests of the event there were servicemen who, despite the injuries they received, did not break, but continue to undergo a rehabilitation course at the national rehabilitation center “UNBROKEN”.

As part of the event, a raffle was also held, during which it was possible to collect 80,000 hryvnias, which will go towards the purchase of VAC systems for wounded soldiers. VAC therapy is used for rapid healing of the wound by its constant cleaning and stimulation of tissue regeneration. A special sponge is placed on the surface of the wound, it is hermetically covered with a film and connected to the VAC device. Activation of such processes allows the wound to heal in a much shorter time.

In addition, the cultural evening was held with the assistance of the Lviv Regional Military Administration. We thank the “Supporters of Ukraine” Charitable Foundation for organizing the event and providing constant support to those in need.
