
In Lviv, tram No. 9 will also run on a temporarily diverted route on 22 July. The traffic restrictions have been extended due to emergency works at the junction of Lypynskoho and Zamarsynivska streets, where a collapse of the road surface was discovered under the tram tracks. This was reported by the Transport Department of the Lviv City Council.
According to the department, the void beneath the tracks has already been filled with concrete, but specialists have recommended restricting traffic along this section for another 24 hours.
For the duration of the works, tram No. 9 is running on the following route: Zaliznychnyi railway station — Kyivska St — Nechuya-Levytskoho St — Vitovskoho St — Franka Sq — I. Franka St — Pidvalna St — Zamarsynivska St — Haidamatska St — B. Khmelnytskoho St — Promyslova St — Mykolaychuka St.
