14 bus drivers in Lviv region fined for violating transportation rules

Given the increasing number of traffic accidents involving buses serving bus routes in Lviv region, Lviv Regional State Administration together with the Patrol Police Department initiated joint state control measures during the release of buses on the line.

This was reported by the press service of the Lviv Regional State Administration.

During July, 14 resolutions were drawn up as part of joint raid inspections for violations of transport legislation by carriers such as Success BM LLC, Lviv ATP-14630 PJSC, Mira & K LLC, and Fiacre-Lviv LLC. Among the most frequent violations are inadequate technical condition of buses and drivers’ lack of permits for passenger transportation.

“Drivers of road transport companies are required to undergo a daily medical examination before leaving the company, and the bus itself is checked by a mechanic before departure, which he makes a corresponding entry in the vehicle release log,” said Orest Shulikovsky, director of the road transport department of the Lviv Regional State Administration.

The road department urged residents of the region to contact the department in case of violations of the schedule or traffic pattern by carriers to make management decisions and prevent such violations in the future. You can register your appeal by calling the short number of the Regional Hotline – 112, or the Government Hotline – 1545.
