Starting tomorrow, April 20, the heating season 2021-2022 will end in Lviv. Budget institutions – hospitals, clinics, schools, greenhouses and others – can continue to receive heat on the basis of letters of appeal to heat supply companies.
“Due to the increase in air temperature, we plan to end the heating season in Lviv on April 20. According to weather forecasters, on April 21 in the afternoon it will be 12 degrees and there will be a gradual increase in temperature.
Therefore, in order to avoid overheating and to save money, the heating season is coming to an end. If there are institutions that need heat, such as medical institutions, greenhouses, institutions where displaced Ukrainians live, etc., they can send a letter of appeal to Lvivteploenergo or Zaliznychneteploenerho and provide them with heat.
Instead, we will supply hot water to all consumers, “said Iryna Marunyak, Lviv Deputy Mayor for Housing and Communal Services.
