3,000 people with disabilities will receive financial assistance in the Lviv community

More than UAH 3.7 million has been allocated in the budget of the Lviv community for financial assistance provided by the city every December on the occasion of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.

These funds will be allocated to 3,013 hromada residents with disabilities of the 1st and 2nd groups since childhood.

“The city cares about every resident of our community. We monitor all important events and try to provide everything necessary to those who need it. However, payments on the occasion of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities are not only about financial assistance, but also about solidarity and care,” says Tatyana Kolesnik, head of the city’s social protection department.

Thus, 3,013 residents with disabilities of groups 1 and 2 since childhood will receive financial assistance. In particular, 1479 people with group 1 disability since childhood will receive financial support in the amount of UAH 1500. And 1534 people with group 2 disabilities since childhood will receive UAH 1,000 each. The total amount of payments is over UAH 3.7 million.
