On 23 December, the executive committee of the Lviv City Council approved a decision to provide financial assistance to residents whose property was damaged by a rocket attack on 4 September.
As a result, 13 more residents will receive financial support totalling UAH 12 million 493,922.
The funds will be used to partially reimburse the cost of restoring damaged roofs. Thus, a total of 466 Lviv residents whose property was damaged or destroyed by the rocket attack on 4 September have already received assistance from the city. The total amount of payments is UAH 25 million 352 thousand.
“The city continues to provide financial assistance and take care of those who need it. So, this time 13 residents will receive funds. We are glad that despite all the difficulties, we can help,” says Tatyana Kolesnik, acting head of the social protection department of the Lviv City Council.
As a reminder, on 4 September, Russia launched a missile attack on Lviv. As a result, Frankivskyi and Zaliznychnyi districts of the city were affected.
At the same time, the city is helping Lviv residents whose homes were destroyed by the enemy on 4 September to purchase new apartments.
As of today, payments of assistance for new housing have been approved for owners and co-owners of 18 apartments in the buildings at 37, 38, 40a Bratykh Mikhnovskikh Street, which were found to be beyond repair after an inspection.
