Chervonohrad improves procurement efficiency through mandatory monitoring of commodity prices

On 18 June, the Executive Committee of Chervonohrad City Council approved the Methodology for Monitoring Current Prices for Goods and Basic Material Resources during Construction Works.

Price monitoring will be carried out during the preparation of estimates and the formation of expected costs for the procurement of services. This innovative approach to price monitoring will help to obtain reasonable prices for construction resources and minimise corruption risks in procurement processes.

The decision was initiated by the Mayor Andriy Zalivskyi with the support of the EU Anti-Corruption Initiative (EUACI).
