The city planning department of the LMR spoke about the work that is ongoing in the “Nut Grove” park, including the cleaning of the lake, the arrangement of new flower beds, the planting of perennial plants, exotic trees and flowers.

“Pleso visually became more or less doubled. And because of this, the park itself became more spacious. They did not drain the water in the lake, they simply deepened the part with reeds, made the banks more gentle. The bottom has been cleaned,” the urban planning department informs.
As Oleksandra Sladkova, head of the department of ecology and natural resources of the LMR, said, they did it so that the reeds did not take over new areas. They did not forget about the inhabitants of the lake. A peninsula of reeds near the willow was left for the birds that live and nest there.
Five flowerbeds with perennials were arranged in the park. Also, perennial plants and cereals were planted in flowerbeds by the central path that leads to the cinema center from the side of the street. Volodymyr the Great.
“In the spring, you will be able to admire the tulips here – about 2,000 of them were planted in the park.
New trees have also been added to the Nut Grove – irga, larch, alder, and exotic taxodiums – these trees love moisture, so they were planted in places where there is often standing water. All landings are planned in cooperation with the Department of Ecology and Natural Resources of the LMR and gardeners and carried out by LKP “Zeleny Lviv”, the urban planning department said.
Also, according to Oleksandra Sladkova, benches and chairs are planned to be installed in the park next year. Also, in the new year, the lawns will be restored, in particular, the area near the lake, where the equipment was working, will be tidied up.
