On Friday, August 19, the executive committee of the LMR made a decision “On arranging a shelter (bomb shelter) in the Syhiv district of Lviv and ensuring the operation of a temporary parking lot.”
We are talking about two adjacent plots with a total area of 1.1 hectares on Chervonaya Kalina Avenue. Their executive committee decided to define suitable shelters (bomb shelters) that can be used to protect the population in the event of man-made and natural emergencies and in wartime.
“Quality shelter during war is more than important, it is a vital thing. The area of Syhiv panels is in great need of a large, high-quality shelter for residents. Today, the executive committee identified two areas for this need. Their location is perfect for this purpose – in case of danger, it will be convenient for Lviv residents to get to the shelter.
Now there is a parking lot in this area. The Department of Urban Planning should develop a concept of how to arrange a high-quality shelter and at the same time preserve a parking area for cars,” said Ljubomyr Zubach, Deputy Mayor for Urban Planning.
“Rembud” LKP has been identified as the customer of the works.
