Drohobych handed over reconnaissance drones for the military

The second year of the full-scale war, which Russia started on Ukrainian lands, continues. Every day, the Ukrainian military repels enemy attacks and steadfastly defends the borders of our state. To confront the enemy, our defenders urgently need drones to detect and destroy enemy objects.

To provide for the needs of our military, the Drohobytsk community conducts numerous fundraisers, cooperates with sister cities in providing humanitarian aid to the army and internally displaced persons, residents of the affected regions, coordinates its delivery, etc.

So, these days, the Drohobytsk community purchased two Mavic 3 reconnaissance drones, one of them with a thermal imager, for the military personnel of the 24th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after King Danylo, with a total cost of 300,000 hryvnias. Drohobych Mayor Taras Kuchma and First Deputy Roman Beyzyk handed over the drones to the servicemen.

In addition, Drohobych Mayor Taras Kuchma recently took the initiative to hand over several hundred drones to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This initiative immediately found support in many organizations and collectives of the city of Kotermak. So, recently the Palace of Children’s and Youth Creativity joined an important cause and organized a fundraiser for drones for our defenders. The team of the Palace of Children’s and Youth Creativity managed to purchase and pay for the delivery of two FPV drones, which will help the Ukrainian military to fight against the invaders, with the jointly collected funds.
