Dutch tulips began to be planted in the communities of Lviv MTG. So, more than two thousand tulips have already been planted in Bryukhovychy at different locations. In Zashkov, they plan to make a tulip trident on the flowerbed. The rest of the communities will soon receive flower bulbs. This was reported in the city agglomeration department of the LMR. The regional state administration will help plant the flowers.
Meanwhile, the tulip campaign is in full swing in Lviv. Bulbs are planted in parks, squares, avenues and squares of Lviv, as well as the Memorial to the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred. Tulips were also given to botanical gardens and higher educational institutions.
The Department of Ecology and Natural Resources of the LMR says that Lviv received such a large batch of tulips for the first time – 125 thousand bulbs of ten varieties. They are planted in such a way that when some flowers bloom, others are just beginning.
By the way, tulips are very unpretentious and bloom better when they are planted for the winter. It will be possible to admire the fruits of the gift from Ukraine-friendly Netherlands in the spring.
