This year, winter in Drohobych region passed without significant precipitation, but this week the temperature dropped sharply, reaching minus ten degrees at night. Yesterday, February 19th, snow began to fall in the Drohobych community, although its amount was small. Public utilities quickly started clearing and spreading sand-salt mixtures on the roads and sidewalks.
Volodymyr Suda, the director of the Municipal Management Service, reported that the utility workers were ready to work all night in an enhanced mode. However, the weather turned out to be milder than expected. Despite this, road preparation started at night with the help of a single sand spreader. Meanwhile, other workers were engaged in spreading on sidewalks and paths. The situation on the roads remains stable.
