The first day of calendar winter began in the community with heavy snowfall. Since the evening of November 30, a large amount of snow has fallen, so the communal services of the community started clearing the snow in the evening and worked throughout the night.
In Drohobych and Stebnik, 2 excavators and 3 units of sand throwers were involved in the work on the roads, which worked from 22:00 in the evening. Both utility workers and bobcats worked on clearing the sidewalks.
Private entrepreneurs and farms are involved in the clearing of roads in the villages of the community.
In Lishna, Derezhychy, Monastyr-Derezhytskyi, Monastyr-Lishnianskyi, Pochayevichy, Nizhniy Gayi and Verkhnyi Gayi, road clearing was carried out by Pochatok. In Zaluzhany, Snyatinka, Stary Selo, Ryhtichy and Mykhaylevichy – FG “Eco Charole”. In Kolpka, Silca and Bolekhivtsi – FOP “Soroka”.
As of now, the situation on the streets of the community is under control. All roads are through. Since the snow continues to fall, the work on clearing and sprinkling roads and sidewalks continues,” said Volodymyr Suda, director of the “SMU” KP.
Forecasters predict snowfall for the next few days. Since the snow is likely to continue until Sunday afternoon, drivers are asked not to leave without an urgent need and not to leave their cars on the roadway in order not to interfere with the work of snow removal equipment.
