In the Drohobytsk community, intensive preparations are underway for the beginning of the winter period. Volodymyr Suda, head of Municipal Administration Service, reported that their company held a tender for the purchase of sand and salt. Winners have been determined, with whom the relevant contract will be concluded these days.
For this winter period, we will purchase 210 tons of salt and 1,200 cubic meters of sand. Therefore, from November 15, we will place boxes for sand mixture on the streets of the city and territorial community. They will be of two types: orange wooden and yellow plastic. Boxes with a sand mixture will also be placed in the villages of the Drohobytsk community on sections of roads that are difficult for cars to cross during icy conditions. In total, the CP “SMU” will place about two hundred such boxes in the city and TG, Volodymyr Suda emphasized.
Also, according to the head of KP “SMU”, their communal institution has prepared all the necessary equipment for winter. So, this winter, for high-quality snow removal and treatment of roadways and sidewalks, SMU employees will use a Bobcat mini loader to clear sidewalks, two excavators, one of which is new and purchased this year, two MAZ trucks, two graders, sand throwers, etc.
In addition, agreements have been concluded with private enterprises to clear roads in the villages of the territorial community.
