Maybe no. This is the responsibility of the authorities, volunteers, and communities. Because we all create Ukrainian society together.
This was announced by the head of LOVA Maksym Kozytskyi.
We now face three huge challenges.
- Many soldiers wait months for rotation because there is no one to replace them. Lviv OVA is doing everything it can to solve this problem. This is our challenge. But it is also a challenge for society.
- Reduction of aid to Ukraine from abroad. This is again a challenge for authorities, volunteers and society – we have to mobilize internal reserves. It is about material things, but also about faith.
- Personal income tax from military units goes to the central level. Non-critical expenditures in local budgets are smaller, but this does not mean that people in communities and authorities at all other levels do not have to look for reserves to help. They definitely have.
He emphasized this during the 3rd International Volunteer Summit, which was hosted by our region.
