Krakow Vodokanal starts several months of training for employees of Drohobych Vodokanal

Today, on 13 February, as part of the partnership between the Krakow and Drohobych water utilities, the Drohobych City Institute has launched an online training course for employees of the Drohobych Vodokanal.

The participants were greeted by Drohobych Mayor Taras Kuchma. He noted the good initiative and expressed his belief that the experience gained would be useful for the development of Drohobychvodokanal. Taras Kuchma also thanked the Krakow Vodokanal for its constant assistance to the Ukrainian people in wartime.

Piotr Zentara, the head of the Krakow water utility, also greeted the audience. He noted that the topics to be covered during the training are relevant to the water and sewerage sector in Drohobych. Today’s training started with a presentation on the historical development and modern technologies of the Krakow Vodokanal.

The Polish experts will then move on to cover metering, water quality and a number of other engineering topics.

The training will last for several months and will take place twice a week. As a result, employees of Drohobychvodokanal will take an exam and receive a certificate of training in new technologies in the field of water supply and sewerage. The training is being conducted by Krakow Vodokanal in cooperation with the Krakow University of Technology.
