Lviv has purchased and handed over 52 more drones to the defenders

The Lviv City Council, at the expense of the community, has purchased another batch of essential equipment for our defenders worth UAH 8.3 million.

This includes 52 unmanned aerial vehicles. Today the equipment was handed over to the military.

These are Ukrainian-made MARA UAVs and various types of quadcopters: Mavic 3, 3E and Pro. In particular, 10 MARA drones were handed over to the 45th Brigade, and 42 quadcopters to the 125th, 24th and 65th Brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In January-February 2024, Lviv City Hall supported the army with over UAH 119 million. The vehicles and equipment were purchased at the request of the military as part of a citywide program to support the defenders. The budget of Lviv city council for 2024 provides UAH 1 billion for the purchase of equipment and supplies for the Armed Forces of Ukraine alone.

Earlier, Lviv increased its financial support for the development of military equipment to UAH 3 million. Ukrainian manufacturers will be able to receive a voucher of up to UAH 3 million for UAVs/UAVs and other equipment from the Lviv City Council.
