Lviv region is among the leaders in purchasing UAVs for the Armed Forces: which communities have purchased the most drones

The organization Civic Monitoring Ukraine has published statistics on how many drones Ukrainian communities have bought for the Ukrainian Armed Forces with budget money during the two years since the full-scale invasion.

Lviv region purchased 5,026 drones worth 230 million 508 thousand hryvnias and ranked second among Ukrainian regions.

According to the monitoring, Lviv City Council purchased the most UAVs. The Lviv community spent UAH 145.8 million on 3,708 UAVs. Horodok City Council is in second place, having purchased 575 UAVs for UAH 18.1 million. And the third is Stryi City Council, which purchased 204 drones worth UAH 4.36 million.

Solonkiv village council – 172 drones for UAH 13.03 million;
Chervonohrad City Council – 59 drones for UAH 9.2 million;
Brody City Council – 45 drones for UAH 3.57 million;
Raliv village council – 39 items for UAH 811 thousand;
Slavske Village Council – 36 units for UAH 7.35 million;
Skole City Council – 27 units for UAH 6.19 million;
Sokilnytsia Village Council – 24 pieces for UAH 4.64 million;
Pustomyty City Council – 24 units for UAH 3.84 million;
Radekhiv City Council – 16 units for UAH 1.56 million;
Khodoriv City Council – 13 units for UAH 436 thousand;
Truskavets City Council – 10 pieces for UAH 1.17 million;
Krasne village council – 10 units for UAH 180 thousand;
Velykolyubinsk Village Council – 9 shares for UAH 2.75 million;
Hlynianske City Council – 9 units for UAH 799 thousand;
Turkiv City Council – 8 units for UAH 1.25 million;
Novoyavoriv City Council – 7 units for UAH 1.61 million;
Zhovkva City Council – 7 pieces for UAH 912 thousand;
Morshyn City Council – 6 units for UAH 160 thousand;
Komarniv City Council – 3 pieces for UAH 337 thousand;
Novoyarichivska community – 3 pieces for UAH 63 thousand;
Busk City Council – 3 pieces for UAH 31 thousand;
Drohobych City Council – 2 pieces for UAH 300 thousand;
Biskovytske village council – 2 pieces for UAH 20 thousand;
Dobrotvir village council – 1 piece for UAH 890 thousand;
Ivano-Frankivsk village council – 1 piece for UAH 435 thousand;
Strelkovo village council – 1 piece for UAH 428 thousand;
Skhidnytsia village council – 1 piece for UAH 230 thousand;
Rava-Ruska City Council – 1 unit for UAH 14 thousand.

In total, the number of UAVs purchased by communities and local administrations in Ukraine for the needs of the Armed Forces is 36,248 units and 60 sets worth UAH 2 billion 763 million 287 thousand.

The study took into account purchases by local councils and district and regional administrations of quadcopters, FPV drones and other unmanned aerial vehicles using the Prozorro.
