As part of the “Lion’s Revenge” initiative, the Lviv City Council purchased and delivered 458 drones of various modifications and two unmanned aviation complexes to the military. The total value of the equipment amounts to 10.7 million UAH.
The delivered equipment includes:
- FPV drones (7ʼʼ, 10ʼʼ, 15ʼʼ),
- Mavic 3/3T drones,
- unmanned aviation systems.
Lviv’s Support Program for the Armed Forces
The city of Lviv continuously supports the Ukrainian army through a dedicated program that responds to the requests of military brigades and units. To date, more than 800 million UAH has been allocated from the city budget for defense needs this year.
Fundraising Campaign for Combat Brigades
In partnership with the “Come Back Alive” foundation, Lviv launched a large-scale fundraising campaign called “Arms Bearers.” The goal is to collect 200 million UAH to support four combat brigades of the Armed Forces:
- 24th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after King Danylo,
- 80th Separate Airborne Assault Brigade (Galician Brigade),
- 68th Separate Jaeger Brigade named after Oleksa Dovbush,
- 128th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade (Zakarpattia Brigade).
The funds will be used to purchase mortars, grenade launchers, pickups, electronic warfare systems, and quadcopters. Over 29 million UAH has already been raised.
