The Lviv community continues to support the Ukrainian army. Thanks to the taxes paid by the citizens, this time the City Hall purchased and delivered 800 FPV drones to the military for a total of over UAH 14 million.
The FPV drones with batteries were handed over to various units of the Airborne Assault Forces that are defending our country from the Russian aggressor.
Also this week, the military received an RQ-35 Heidrun unmanned aerial reconnaissance system consisting of three sides worth UAH 15.9 million.
In January-February 2024, Lviv City Hall supported the army with over UAH 119 million. The vehicles and equipment were purchased at the request of the military as part of a citywide program to support defenders. The budget of the Lviv City Council for 2024 provides UAH 1 billion for the purchase of equipment and supplies for the Armed Forces of Ukraine alone.
