In particular, the company will purchase solar panels, energy storage devices and a powerful generator. UAH 2 million will be spent on this equipment. The remaining UAH 7 million will be used to purchase two garbage trucks – a rear-loading bunker truck and a universal truck with a crane to service underground container yards. The garbage trucks currently used by the company are already outdated. Therefore, it is difficult to find the necessary equipment during repairs, and the fuel consumption of old equipment is much higher than that of new equipment.
Therefore, the purchase of energy-generating equipment and new machinery is cost-effective and important for the safety of the community, as it is about garbage collection,” explained Orest Tymchyshyn, Director of the Department of Housing and Infrastructure at Lviv City Council.
According to him, Lvivspetskomuntrans will be able to repay the loan on its own, without attracting budgetary
