In August 2021, the Chervonohrad City Council signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Lithuanian city of Marijampole. Since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, this community was one of the first to provide humanitarian aid to our military and medics.
This was reported in the Chervonohrad City Council.
Then, at the invitation of the mayor of Marjampolé, Povilas Isoda, and in order to sign an agreement on cooperation between the twin cities, Chervonohrad Mayor Andriy Zalivsky visited the friendly city.
During the meeting, Andriy Zalivsky also talked with delegations from Norway, Latvia and Poland regarding humanitarian support to Ukraine.
