Today, on 21 August, on Chornovil Avenue, in a part of Halytskyi district – from Pid Dubom Street to Horodotska Street – the current repair of the road surface has begun with large-scale asphalt paving.
Repairs will be carried out on emergency sections of the avenue on both lanes. The works are expected to last until 23 August inclusive. Traffic will not be blocked.
However, the Galician District Administration notes that large-sized equipment will be used at the site, so traffic may be inconvenienced. “We hope for drivers’ understanding and ask them to choose an alternative route if possible,” the Galician District Administration said.
It should be noted that due to heavy traffic, the asphalt concrete pavement on certain sections of Chornovil Avenue is being destroyed. If the potholes are not repaired, this will lead to more negative consequences, including a rise in the cost of repairs in the future.
The total area to be repaired is 850 m2. The works are being carried out by the contractor Roma PE.
