The international automobile checkpoint “Nyzhankovychi – Malkhovichi” will be operational in June
The implementation of the project with its construction is already at the final stage. This was reported by the Deputy Prime Minister for the Reconstruction of Ukraine Oleksandr Kubrakov.
MAPP “Nyzhankovychy – Malkhovychy” provides for joint control of Ukrainian and Polish customs and border guards.
Its cost is PLN 109 million, which is paid by the Polish side.
The point is designed for moving passenger transport and trucks up to 3.5 tons. Currently working in the mode of special temporary crossing the border.
Also, the Lviv OVA submitted to the Ministry of Community Development, Territories and Infrastructure of Ukraine a proposal to supplement the Agreement on the establishment of the international road crossing point “Nyzhankovychi – Malkhovychy” with a railway connection.
