Today, December 30, a meeting of the Defense Council of the region was held in Lviv Oblast. During the meeting, the issue of ensuring law and order during New Year’s and Christmas events was considered.
Thus, the decision of the Defense Council in the region prohibited the use (launching) of all types of pyrotechnic products, including fireworks, salutes, firecrackers, during the legal regime of martial law.
The implementation of this decision will be monitored by the National Police and patrol officers.
Also, during the New Year and Christmas holidays, law enforcement agencies will work in an intensified mode, patrolling the streets, the State Emergency Service for the purpose of detecting and disarming explosive devices in places of events and responding to reports of the detection or use of explosive devices, firearms, as well as in the event of fires or other emergencies.
We would like to add that the leaders of the religious communities of the region should ensure that services are broadcasted on online resources, thus minimizing the presence of believers in the churches themselves. But to establish religious services so that their beginning and end do not fall within the period of the curfew, taking into account the time regime of one or another region during religious ceremonies.
We remind you that the curfew in the Lviv region lasts from 00:00 to 05:00.
