At the transport hub located at the intersection of Stepan Bandera and General Chuprynka Streets, foundations for two new waiting pavilions have been completed. The construction is being carried out by Onur Construction International LLC under the order of Lvivavtodor Municipal Enterprise.
Progress of Work
The concrete foundations have been poured and need to reach their design strength before pavilion installation can begin. According to Lvivavtodor representatives, the pavilions are scheduled to be installed by the end of the year.
The pavilions will be placed at public transport stops:
- on Bandera Street towards the city center;
- on Chuprynka Street in the opposite direction.
Intersection Reconstruction
This project is part of a larger reconstruction of Bandera Street undertaken in recent years. Previously, the intersection was upgraded with:
- street furniture and a drinking fountain;
- stands for electric scooters and bicycles;
- newly planted trees.
The reconstruction of Bandera Street was designed by the Spatial Development Institute (LKP) in collaboration with GIZ and the NGO “Plato.”
