The Department of Architecture and Urbanism of the Lviv City Council refused to grant urban planning conditions and restrictions for the construction of an apartment building with built-in premises on Sadibnaya Street in Sikhiv.
According to the chief architect of Lviv Anton Kolomeitsev, there was an intention to form a terraced house here. In general, it is commensurate with the development of this area, but all monument protection norms must be observed.
“A railway track runs near Sadibnaya Street. There is also an important landmark here – a wooden church, the area near which is considered a landmark. According to the new regulations on the protection of cultural heritage, it is impossible to carry out such a construction, as proposed here, without the development of special scientific documentation. Therefore, a refusal is being prepared for this urban planning intention,” explained Anton Kolomeytsev.
