Despite the fact that it is winter and the heating season is underway, Lvivteploenergo repair crews are replacing the heating network on Symonenko Street.
The work does not affect the heating supply, as new pipelines are laid in parallel with the existing network. Only for the time of the re-cutting, when weather conditions allow, the heat supply is temporarily stopped.
“The employees of our specialized repair and construction shop have already managed to replace 100 meters of 159 mm diameter pipeline with pre-insulated ones on Symonenko Street. The pre-insulated pipe reduces heat losses and improves the reliability of the network.
The work on Symonenko Street is quite laborious, as we are replacing the pipes in parts so as not to affect the heating supply. In recent weeks, the weather conditions have also made the work more difficult.
These works do not affect the supply of heating or hot water to residents. We only stopped the heat supply for the duration of the reconnection,” Lvivteploenergo explains.
As a reminder, Lvivteploenergo currently owns 1127 km of heating networks. Of these, 60% of the pipelines need to be replaced.
