A printing house has been operating in Drohobych for two years and plans to grow into a powerful book factory

In September 2022, a new printing enterprise, the TakyBuk printing house, which is part of a publishing group that unites eight publishing houses, was launched in Drohobych.

For two years now, the publishing house has been successfully operating in the market, printing various books and printed materials for both the Ukrainian market and foreign customers. It employs two dozen specialists and prints about 3,000 copies of books, magazines and other printed materials every week.

At the same time, the production facility is equipped with the most modern models of printing equipment, which currently has no analogues.

We cannot call ourselves a relocated business, because we did not close our offices in Kherson, Odesa and other cities. We just opened a new production facility and chose the Drohobych community for this purpose, where we plan to develop further,” saysRoman Burtnyi, head of the TakiBuk printing house, .

Today, the production facilities of the printing house were presented to the leadership of the Drohobych community. The company was visited by Mayor Taras Kuchma and Vitaliy Vovkiv, manager of the executive committee.

The company currently rents premises in Lishnya. The publishing house employs office specialists, managers, designers, and translators who translate books, even from Chinese. More than a dozen local specialists have been employed by the company.

I am impressed by the modern equipment and the high quality of your products. You are doing a great job, because you are doing a very important and necessary thing – printing books and promoting Ukrainian. Therefore, I believe that your company will continue to develop successfully in the market in Drohobych,” said MayorTaras Kuchma.

The head of the community inspected the production facilities and freshly printed copies of books. He also visited the museum corner of the printing house, which contains unique old prints.

The company has ambitious plans to build and launch an even more powerful production facility, the Drohobych Book Factory. To do this, the company has purchased a land plot at the entrance to the city, on Stryiska Street, and registered the future factory. The meeting was attended by its director Bohdan Holovko and deputy director Victoria Trofimyak.

The Drohobych Book Factory is scheduled to be built next year. It is also planned to set up a museum where unique copies of printed materials will be collected.
