New Transportation Solutions in Lviv Community: Changes in Routes No. 58 and No. 59

Changes in Public Transport Routes in Lviv: New Stops and Schedule

Starting today, February 26, route No. 58 will now enter Zarudtsi during evening hours as well. Other transportation improvements have also been implemented.

New Opportunities for Residents of the Lviv Community

New transportation solutions are being tested in several settlements of the Lviv community. Previously, bus No. 58 entered Zarudci only at lunchtime at 2:00 PM. From now on, an additional option has been introduced. It will simplify the return home for residents who come back from Lviv at 7:40 PM. A week ago, another run to Zavadiv was added – now you can depart from Lviv at 3:30 PM. The bus that operates route No. 59 will enter Zashkiv as well at 9:20 PM.

Joint Efforts to Improve Transportation

The Office of Agglomeration and Community Development, jointly with the transportation management, reported about their collaborative efforts. These decisions were made following numerous requests from residents.

A few months ago, routes No. 58 and No. 59 also changed their terminal stops in Lviv. Instead of the ‘Pidzamche’ station, public transport now goes to Pid Dubom Street. The new terminal stop, unlike the previous one, is located closer to the central part of the city. From here, it’s more convenient to commute, especially with free transfers to other Lviv transport.

It should be reminded that in buses No. 58 and No. 59, there are validators, so after validation, free transfer to other transport is available within 40 minutes.
