Lake in Bryukhovychi Returned to Community After 10 Years of Court Battles

Almost 10 years of court proceedings have ended with the lake in Bryukhovychi being returned to the community.

When Bryukhovychi was joining Lviv, many were concerned that the city would develop the forests and lakes, taking away recreational areas from the people. However, several years have passed, and we have evidence to the contrary. Lake ‘Korsa’, which had been behind a fence for almost ten years, is being returned to the community.

The dismantling of the fence has commenced. Today, the Shevchenkivska District Administration is already overseeing the process. People can once again approach the water, as it should be.

This is not the end – trials are ongoing regarding illegally constructed objects on the territory, such as gazebos and a castle-restaurant. But the main thing has already happened: the water is accessible again!
